This tab delivers comprehensive insights into all inbound processes, enabling warehouse leaders to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource allocation. Key capabilities include: - Tracking total inbound shipments and identifying manipulated shipments over time, with the ability to view trends by month or week. - Forecasting high-volume days to allocate resources efficiently. - Filtering by load type, customer, and other dimensions for targeted analysis. - The Receiving Processing Time metrics are the most valuable feature—showing time from dock to WMS received, dock to putaway, unloading time, segregation time, and putaway time. This allows leaders to monitor operational efficiency and determine whether performance is improving or declining. - A detailed table at the bottom provides transaction IDs, container numbers, metric times, arrival dates, and day names (excluding weekends to ensure meaningful business-day metrics). The table includes visual warnings: - Red highlight for containers exceeding SLA thresholds for WMS receiving or putaway. - Yellow highlight for containers taking more than two hours to unload—indicating direct financial loss due to operational delays. By visualizing and tracking these metrics, warehouse leadership can quickly identify process slowdowns, determine staffing needs, and pinpoint where time and money are being lost. This SLA-focused approach is essential in the import/export environment, where maintaining workflow speed and quality directly impacts profitability.

This tab provides full visibility into order processing performance, answering key operational questions such as: - Average processing time for orders and SLA compliance tracking. - Monthly and weekly order volumes, with breakdowns of packages, SKUs, and items per order. - Customer type filtering (3PL vs. B2C) to analyze service patterns. - Entry type insights (e.g., 321 classification) to measure compliance with the company’s primary business focus. - Comparison of shipped orders vs. truck shipments over time. - Percentage of total order volume shipped per weekday to provide insight into when the highest order processing occurs. From a technical perspective, this dashboard overcame the challenge of merging two separate data sources—a manually downloaded WMS report and an incremental API feed. Initially, these existed in separate tabs, which caused confusion for leadership. By integrating them into a single unified dataset, we delivered a single source of truth for all shipped orders data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a streamlined user experience.

Do we need this much warehouse capacity if it’s underutilized? - Supporting cost control by revealing underused capacity that could be reallocated or downsized. By linking storage trends to sales performance and customer activity, this tab helps ensure warehouse space is optimized and aligned with actual business needs.

This tab centralizes the company’s most critical KPIs and SLAs, giving leadership a clear view of operational performance and areas of risk, by: - Tracking warehouse volume SLA to ensure at least 33% utilization. - Showing total orders and inbound shipments in the selected period. - Measuring % of orders processed the same day when received before 11 AM, a key SLA for customer satisfaction. - Displaying average order processing time to monitor efficiency. - Highlighting inbound SLA compliance, including: % of containers out of SLA for putaway and WMS received. % of containers taking more than 2 hours to unload — directly tied to financial loss. - Average time from dock to putaway and dock to WMS received. - Allowing filtering by customer type and specific customer to focus on priority accounts. - Serving as the primary SLA/KPI control panel for the company — enabling leaders to immediately spot issues and then drill down into detailed inbound or outbound tabs to find root causes. This tab tracks API bandwidth usage to control and reduce costs, providing insights that help avoid unnecessary tier upgrades and optimize system efficiency by: - Showing total API calls and total GBs consumed over time. - Identifying spikes in API calls or bandwidth usage to detect abnormal patterns. - Highlighting which customers or integrations generate the most calls or bandwidth usage. - Displaying % bandwidth usage per request type (Orders, Inventory, Other) to pinpoint the processes consuming the most bandwidth.
