Logistics Dashboard
The process began with extensive data cleaning and structuring. Much of the source data came from Excel files with inconsistent formats, requiring normalization, removal of duplicates, and alignment of key fields. I defined multiple data connections to integrate APIs, WMS outputs, Microsoft Lists, and custom Excel exports. In cases where a true database was unavailable, I designed simulated database structures using Microsoft Lists to maintain relationships and enforce data integrity.
To ensure the dashboard was relevant to business needs, I conducted requirement-gathering sessions with leaders and stakeholders, filtering requests to prioritize metrics that would drive operational decisions rather than focusing on purely aesthetic visualizations. I developed solutions to track critical KPIs—such as SLA compliance for receiving and shipping, pallet space utilization over time, and customer segment performance (3PL vs B2C).
Throughout development, I applied DAX queries extensively to create dynamic measures, implemented automatic refresh schedules in Power BI Service. Beyond the technical work, I engaged deeply with warehouse operations to understand processes, ensuring that the dashboard didn’t just present data—it told the operational story leaders needed to act on.
The result was a unified platform that integrates multiple data streams, prioritizes accuracy and usability, and supports real-time decision-making at the leadership level.
