Operations App


  • The Operations App was built to solve a critical visibility gap in container handling — giving complete oversight of all containers, their timelines, and every milestone to power accurate metrics and KPIs.
     


  • Before the app, there was no reliable way to track “Segregation”, the milestone that consumes the most operator time. Neither the WMS nor Excel provided this visibility. Now, the app’s dedicated segmentation feature tracks it in real time, enabling performance measurement where it matters most.
     


  • It also eliminates communication complications between compliance, import/export, and operators by consolidating workflows into a single platform. Operators log milestones live, with timestamps auto-populated via the Now() function — preventing manual date changes and ensuring data integrity.
     


  • Backed by SharePoint Lists, the application replaces fragile Excel tracking with a secure, scalable database that feeds directly into the Power BI dashboard. This design reduces data cleaning time, ensures accuracy, and delivers actionable insights instantly.
     


  • With its integrated database, business logic, and user interface, the Operations App is a complete end-to-end solution, driving operational efficiency and decision-making across the business.
